Spa Health Check Service
Preventative maintenance visit designed to keep your spa operating safely and efficiently between major services.

- Water Chemistry Testing
We test and balance your spa water chemistry to maintain safe bathing conditions and stable sanitiser levels. - Filter Maintenance
Pleated filters are cleaned and disposable filters are inspected. Replacement filters charged separately if required. - Waterline & Surface Clean
The acrylic waterline and exposed surfaces are cleaned to remove oils and residue. - Pump & Equipment Check
Pumps, heater systems and key electrical components are inspected to confirm correct operation. - Jet & Circulation Check
Jets and circulation systems are checked to ensure proper flow. - General System Inspection

Our most comprehensive preventative maintenance service, designed to deep clean the spa, inspect critical components and reset water quality for another year of reliable operation.

- Plumbing Purge Treatment
Before draining, we treat the plumbing with our unique Arctic Spa Pipe Flush and Biofilm Destroyer solutions to remove biofilm, residue, and chemical deposits from internal pipework and fittings. - Filter Maintenance
Pleated filters are deep cleaned and disposal filters are replaced to ensure proper water circulation and filtration performance. Replacement Pro Filters are not included and will be quoted if required. - Component Testing
We check and test each individual electrical component as well as your pumps, heater systems, LED lighting, Ozone and salt systems to confirm everything is operating safely and drawing the correct amperage. - Pump Inspection
Pumps and unions are inspected for leaks or wear, with seals replaced if required. - Jet & Circulation Check
Jets and circulation systems are checked to ensure proper flow. - Control System & Electronics Diagnostics
Key control systems, sensors and electronic components are tested to confirm reliable spa operation. - Programming
During the service, we will check and install the latest software, where applicable. - Drain Down & Deep Shell Clean
The spa is fully drained and the acrylic shell is carefully cleaned to remove scale, oils, and residue, leaving a fresh clean surface. - Refill & Water Chemistry Balancing

- Advanced Plumbing Purge Treatment
We perform an intensive plumbing purge using Arctic Spa Pipe Flush and Biofilm Destroyer treatments designed to break down heavy biofilm, organic contamination and chemical residue hidden deep within internal pipework. - Double Drain & System Flush
Unlike standard servicing, the spa is drained twice. After the initial purge and drain, the spa is refilled and circulated with further cleansing treatments before being drained again to ensure contaminated water and loosened debris are fully removed from the plumbing system. - Deep Filter Maintenance
Pleated filters are chemically soaked and deep cleaned to remove oils, bacteria and organic build-up. Disposal filters are replaced to ensure proper water circulation and filtration performance. Replacement Pro Filters are not included and will be quoted if required. - Full Shell & Surface Sanitation
The acrylic shell, waterline, headrests and fittings are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised to remove scale, grease, algae and biological contaminants that can accumulate in poorly maintained spas. - Jet & Plumbing Inspection
Jets and plumbing outlets are inspected and flushed to ensure unrestricted water flow following the decontamination process. - Component & System Testing
Pumps, heater systems, lighting, ozone and salt systems are tested to confirm correct operation after the system has been fully cleaned and flushed. - Programming

- Pre-Drain Plumbing Flush
Before draining, the internal plumbing is treated with our Arctic Spa Pipe Flush to loosen chemical deposits and residue, ensuring your lines are thoroughly cleansed prior to winter shutdown. - System Drain Down & Shell Clean
The spa is fully drained to remove the majority of water from the shell and internal plumbing, preparing it for safe freeze protection. Once drained, the acrylic shell is cleaned to remove oils, and residue, leaving a fresh clean and dry surface. - Filter Maintenance
Pleated filters are cleaned and disposal filters are replaced to ensure proper water circulation and filtration performance. Replacement Pro Filters are not included and will be quoted if required. - Plumbing Line Purge
Remaining water is carefully blown from internal pipework, jets and circulation lines to minimise the risk of freeze damage during cold temperatures. - Pump & Heater Drainage
Pumps, heater, and key plumbing unions are opened and drained before vacuuming to ensure no standing water remains in critical components. - Sensor, Jet & Valve Protection
The Spa Boy sensor is capped to protect its calibration. Jets and valve fittings are inspected and adjusted where required to prevent trapped water from causing damage over the winter months. - Cover & Cabinet Check
The spa cover and cabinet are inspected and secured to ensure maximum protection against the elements while not in use.
Service Pricing Notes
Prices shown include VAT and apply to standard hot tubs. Swim spas and All Weather Pools are priced separately. Replacement Pro Filter, parts, repairs, and any additional remedial work are charged separately where required.
How to Prepare for Your Service
To ensure our technicians can complete your service safely and efficiently, please check the following before we arrive:
Leave the hot tub full: Please do not drain the hot tub before we arrive! Your existing water is perfectly fine. We need the tub full and running so we can test the pumps and run our specialised internal plumbing flush before draining.
Keep the power on: The hot tub must be turned on and heating when we arrive. We will handle safely isolating the power during the maintenance process.
Clear access: Please ensure gates are unlocked, pets are kept safely indoors, and there is clear working space around all sides of the hot tub cabinet. We will also need clear access to your electrical isolator switch.
Drainage area: We will need access to a suitable drain or safe run-off area to empty the existing hot tub water (typically 1,000+ litres).
Water supply & hose: Please ensure we have access to an outdoor tap and a working hosepipe to rinse the shell and refill the spa with fresh water.
Cover clips: If your hot tub cover uses lockable safety clips, please ensure they are unlocked or the key is readily available for our technician.
