Important Maintenance & Warranty Information
All external timber must be treated with a high-quality wood preservative immediately after installation to preserve its appearance and ensure long-term performance.
Failure to carry out this treatment will invalidate the warranty.
Yakia recommends Ronseal Trade Total Wood Preserver (Clear) for optimal protection.
Electrical Installation Requirements
Traditional electric sauna heaters require a completely different electrical setup than regular plug sockets.
A qualified electrician must install a new dedicated circuit from your consumer unit and run appropriate gauge cable to the sauna location.
The setup requires a double-pole breaker, a disconnect isolator switch near the sauna, and properly grounded connections.
The electrician must test and certify the final installation.
