Important Maintenance & Warranty Information
Thermowood will naturally weather and fade over time.
To preserve its appearance, all external timber must be treated with a high quality wood preservative immediately after installation.
Failure to carry out this treatment will invalidate the warranty.
Yakia recommends Ronseal Trade Total Wood Preserver (Clear) for optimal protection.
Electrical Installation Requirements
Electric heaters require a dedicated power supply; regular plug sockets will not work.
A qualified electrician must install a new dedicated circuit from your consumer unit and run appropriate gauge cable to your sauna location.
The installation requires a double-pole breaker rated for the heater and a disconnect isolator switch near the sauna.
All connections must be properly grounded, tested, and certified.
