Important Maintenance & Warranty Information
All external timber must be treated with a high-quality wood preservative immediately after installation to preserve its appearance and ensure long-term performance.
Failure to carry out this treatment will invalidate the warranty.
Yakia recommends Ronseal Trade Total Wood Preserver (Clear) for optimal protection.
Electrical Installation Requirements
Traditional electric sauna heaters require a completely different electrical setup; regular plug sockets will not work.
A qualified electrician must install a new dedicated circuit from your consumer unit, run appropriate gauge cable, and install a double-pole breaker rated for your 9kW heater.
The installation requires a disconnect isolator switch near the sauna.
Ensure all connections are properly grounded, tested, and certified.
