Important Maintenance & Warranty Information
To preserve the appearance and ensure long-term performance, all external timber must be treated with a high-quality wood preservative immediately after installation.
Failure to carry out this treatment will invalidate the warranty.
Yakia recommends Ronseal Trade Total Wood Preserver (Clear) for optimal protection.
Electrical Installation Requirements
Electric heaters require a dedicated power supply; regular plug sockets will not work.
A qualified electrician is required to install a new dedicated circuit from your consumer unit and run appropriate gauge cable to your sauna location.
The installation requires a double-pole breaker rated for the heater, a disconnect isolator switch near the sauna, and properly grounded connections.
The electrician must test and certify the setup.
